Build your future with James Lane Mechanical! We’re looking for a skilled Commercial HVAC Installer to join our Special Projects team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and enjoys being part of a team that delivers high-quality projects across North Texas. What You’ll Do
- Install and service commercial HVAC systems (DX, Hydronic, VRF, ventilation).
- Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork.
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, and rigging tools.
- Prepare tools, materials, and job sites for installations and service calls.
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards on every project.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of commercial HVAC or mechanical installation/fabrication experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong technical knowledge (press joints, solder joints, Victaulic connections).
- Ability to read plans and specifications.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and work at heights.
- Willingness to travel for projects.
